Barbara Bruton, MD, FASAM, is a 1987-graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE. Her postgraduate training includes her internal medicine residency served at LAC-King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California (1987-1990). Dr. Bruton attained board certification in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also board-certified in addiction medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American Society Addiction Medicine, and member of the American Medical Association, the California Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the National Lipid Association, the New York Academy of Science, the Los Angeles County Medical Association, and the Butte-Glenn Medical Society.
